Easter and Six Months Old

We were so glad to be with Makayla on her first Easter. She was perfect in church and even went to Sunday School with us.

She turned six months old on April 10th. I was out of town so Pawpaw and Mommy took the photos. She is rolling over and just starting to try to sit up. She loves everything we offer her to eat!

Makayla is Five Months Old

It is hard to believe that she is now five months old. She is making funny sounds and starting to giggle. She loves her mommy and just lights up when she walks into the room. She is almost 17 pounds and is really long for her age. You can see in the photos she looks much older. She went on her first plane ride this week to see her Daddy at Spring Training.

 

Nana has fallen in love with Mud Pie clothing. Everything has ruffles!!!!!

Four Months

Makayla is 4 months now and the fun is really beginning. She is eating carrots and rice cereal and pretty much likes whatever we feed her. She is starting to giggle and loves her PawPaw!

Three Months Old

Makayla turned three months old on January 10th. Her daddy wanted to be part of the picture, so we happily obliged.

She is really starting to coo and try to talk. She seems to already show some preference to her left hand which would not surprise us since Meghan is left handed. She weighs 14.5 pounds and is wearing 6 month clothes (we still squeeze her into some of the 3-6 month that she just got for Christmas). She now engages with your eyes and follows her mommy and daddy around the room when they walk by.

This was right before Christmas in her present from Nana and Pawpaw. It is an Elephant and his nose is what makes her sit up so well! We are having so much fun with her and her personality is so laid back except when you take the bottle away from her, and then look out!

Makayla Two Months

We took Makayla to her two month checkup today. She weighs almost 12 pounds! 11 lbs and 14 oz to be exact and she is 22.25 inches long. She is starting to coo and smile now.

She is growing so fast it is hard to keep up with her with photos. She now weighs over 10 pounds and just starting to smile. These are 7 weeks photos. I had purchased this Christmas outfit right after I found out we were having a granddaughter. We are having so much fun, it is ridiculous!!!
